| Re: Veteran user back again with newb questions! I'm using the 1gb SanDisk that is MagicGate Supported but Pandora CMD still cant find my memory stick. I've tried Both psp's and my pro duo card reader and it still cant find my memory stick even if I manually select drive and refresh. Any ideas? |

| Administrator ![]() ![]() | Re: Veteran user back again with newb questions! That is strange, you're the first out of about 20 people that I have helped use this that this has happened to. The only time I've seen it is with my card reader that is not magic gate compatible. You can use Despertar del Cementario (DCv5) I have attached it to the post here. You will need some official firmware files. They can be found in the downloads section. Follow the read me in the dc5 rar file and rename and install the files and folder as instructed. This will have to be run on the 3.90m33-3 PSP. Computer is not needed except to copy files over. After the mem stick is made go back to post #7 and get the ospbt.rar and refer back up into the text to see how to install files and create the battery. I'm sure that you will have some problems so PM me or post back and I will get to it tomorrow as I am off for tonight. |

| Re: Veteran user back again with newb questions! Before I give up on this Soft Pandora, I'm going to try My SanDisk 512mb pro duo first. Or maybe I'm doing something else wrong. When I do these steps in post 7 Copy the UPDATE.pbp file from the rar to \Program Files\Pandora_CMD\root Copy the 371.pbp file from the rar to \Program Files\Pandora_CMD\371root Copy the 380.pbp file from the rar to \Program Files\Pandora_CMD\380root It asked me to overwrite the files in those folders because they already exist, so I just selected yes. Am I doing something wrong there? |

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: Veteran user back again with newb questions! this also might sound stupid, but what type of usb cable are you using? is it a usb1 or usb2 cable? because if it's a usb1 that could be the problem. as the psp (and all new pc's and laptop's) are usb2. you could try and update the usb drivers on your pc. that also could be the problem. |

| Re: Veteran user back again with newb questions! I hardmod my battery into a pandora battery. Can I use it to upgrade a 3.51 or higher sony firmware directly to 3.90m33 or 3.95 custom firmware? If so can someone post a download here and a how to? Thanks in advance. |

When you get finished with the memory stick, remove stick, power down PSP, re-insert the stick, hold down the up button on the D pad and insert pandora battery. Continue to hold down the up button until the pandora menu appears, usually 20 sec or less. I have tested this on XP and Vista with no problems as it does not have to put the special format on the memory stick just the regular one. It will install 3.80m33-5. I would not suggest 3.95 GEN, at this time since it is still unstable. | |
