You are going to need a Pandora Battery and a magic memory stick.

i've just downgraded my fat (was on v3.95 gen) and updated to v4.01m33-2 just for you. here is my fat v4.01m33-2 flash0 files.
Are there certain files within flash0 that I need to leave out, if I'm trying to put your flash0 files in mine? I too have a fat v4.01m33-2, and was trying to make a magic memory stick and pandora battery, when something went wrong (probably me not following directions correctly) , and now my psp wont boot (just black screen). I can get to recovery, and I've tried using the recovery flasher, and a couple other things from the /psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp but nothing seems to get it back to normal. From what I can gather, replacing flash0 is my last hope. I read in another forum that if you just replace your flash0 with the contents of somebody else's that you will brick it, and only be able to recovery with a pandora battery and magic memory stick. Do you have any details on this? And if so, do you know what files I have to omit?

Re: help my PSP Freezes At Sony Logo After Theme Installation On flash0

using the pandora's battery to re-install the custom firmware should work. as the pandora's battery was originally designed to un-brick psp's. re-read the guide that you used to make the pandora's battery and mem card. you might have missed something. and try usig it again.

never use the recovery eboot to try and recover back a psp on a firmware higher than v3.51...as it will brick the psp.

replacing the flash0 files can dangerous, if you don't know what you are doing or you don't do it correctly. before you copy the files over to your psp, follow the note that's in this post "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]". it's very important that you do follow the note.

Thanks! These files worked for me...BUT...I didn't replace them all...just the ones that were different. Your flash0 also has a few more files than mine does. Know why? I don't seem to need them either or.

which ones are extra? if they are in the "dic" folder, then no you don't need them.
