Corrupt Data File

Hi Guys,

I have searched the forums for something similar to mine but can't find one anywhere so i'm sorry of this has already been asked.

Basically, I am running CFW 3.71 M33 and have been running it for the past month or so without any problems. Last night I loaded a few more ISOs on to my Memory Stick as I am going on holiday and now some games don't show up and the Saved Data Files are marked as corrupt.

I have formatted the card and tried to add them again and have also saved a game from the UMD but am still getting the same problem? Can anyone help me please?

I have noticed some things on the forum ref Freeloader and Dev Hook, as far as I am aware I don't have them unles they are part of the CFW, should I load them and see what happens?

Thanks in advance!

Kelly

Re: Corrupt Data File

by the sounds of it, you have a fake mem card.

on the psp, scroll over to "GAME" then highlight the mem card. now press "Triangle". press enter. read down to "Magicgate". if the mem card is official, it should read "Supported". but if it's a fake mem card, it will read "Unknown".

the only way to fix this, is to buy an official mem card.

as for fastloader and dev hook. don't worry about them. you do not need them. those homebrew apps were for firmware v1.50 to v2.71. an iso/cso loader is incorporated in the v3.40oe+ custom firmwares.

Re: Corrupt Data File

do a back-up of your mem card (games saves (that work), music, pics, etc) then format it in the psp. put everything back on and try again.

if that doesn't work, try downloading the games from a different source. the games could be corrupt in some way.

or you could also try to install the "fatmsmod" (click "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]" to download it) if you have a fat psp.
