I usually get mine already converted into a single eboot or convert them into a single eboot. You are supposed to be able to finish a disk and save then exit out and start the next disk and open the same gamesave and continue. You would make a different folder in Game for each eboot(FFVIII-1, FFVIII-2, etc.). If you convert them yourself be sure that the Game ID is the same for all disks that way the game save works on each successive disk.

Try this for a search string: PSX (game name) PSP

This will work in Google but I find it better for torrent search sites.

Don't know for direct downloads.

Google: torrent search sites

You should find several spots. I use uTorrent for my client. Many others use direct downloads but like everything else if you are not used to it you can't find anything that is why I use torrents. Personal choice actually.

I looked up how to get these eboots and what i get are pieces that i have to put together. For example i DL FFVII "iso" and i get a .ccd , .img , .sub and .cue file and i tried both MagicISO and UltraISO to put these pieces together but to no avail. Do you know how to create an iso out of these? then out of the iso ill create an eboot. i even look at stuff other ppl postd for help but it didnt help much.

That is actually an ISO for the original game disk. It has not been converted.

I did some quick searching and come up with several torrents that are already converted to eboot. All of these are individual eboots for each disk but as long as you save at the end of each disk and when you start the next disk use Load Game and you should continue on. Be sure to use PSP & PSX with the game name in the search string.

Make sure that the PSP is completely off, hold the power switch up for at least 5 seconds. If that does not work turn off and remove battery for a minute also make sure that there is no AC power cord attached. Then hold down Right trigger first then turn on while holding down on the Right trigger until recovery menu comes up.
