PSX for PSP Custom Firmware 4.01 M33-2

I have another question here and ... i dont know how to get PSX games working for the PSP. Do u need an emulator to run the PSX iso or do u have to mount it somehow. Or can u just put the iso straight into the PSP's ISO folder. Any helpful links or advice would be appreciated. Oh, and I'm running custom firmware 4.01 M33-2 in case you missed it in the title.

Try this guide HERE.

I know that it says for 3.90m33-3 but it is still the same. You have to run the PSX iso thru a program called popstation to convert it to a eboot then install a plugin called popsloader. The guide should get you thru it ok.

Answered in your other post in the other thread.

(psp drive letter):\SEPLUGINS\popsloader.prx

That's what it looks like when your finished.

I thought that you were just refering to popsloader.prx. Yes the Popsloader folder goes into the SEPLUGINS folder, also pops.txt

Do you have any other plugins in SEPLUGINS??

Do you have any .txt files in SEPLUGINS??

Attached is pop.txt, this goes into SEPLUGINS with popsloader.prx and the POPSLOADER folder.

If you have other plugins or another .txt file, open pops.txt with note pad and copy and paste the single line in it to your other .txt file and save.

File Type: txt pops.txt (31 Bytes, 152 views)

yeh and by the way like u said i didnt need to enable pops - the eboot works fine w/o it. after all this - go figure. lol - but its good stuff to learn neway. thx for your input

**another question**

you kno how most psx games (especially RPGS **namely FF series**) comes in disc 1 -2 and 3 then when u complete 1 you insert 2 .. well how does that work with the eboots. if you put all three in the folder titled 'FF VII' *for example* will they switch one to another automatically when you complete one disc .. ?
