| Wow im really confused K, so when I press the home button on my psp, it does what its supposed to do, cept now it mutes the psp. The note button on my psp doesnt seem to mute it. In addition, my VSH menu used to lag a little, but now it just hangs after I press exit so it freezes, forcing me to fully power down my psp and resetting it. I know my psp aint bricked cause I can still play homebrew and backup games, but Its getting on my nerves now. Anyone know a solution to this problem? Ah, the note button doesnt even change the equalizer anymore. Im going crazy. I think its cause I got a lil pepsi on it, so if opening it's the only option, im gonna be pissed. *Woops wrong section, my bad. I posted it here cause my VSH menu wasnt working either, and since VSH is cfw/homebrew related I thought it belonged here, but if the reason why my VSH wasnt working was because of water damage, then it would not belong here and in the overall psp help section.* Last edited by Opposition; 09-30-2008 at 08:25 AM.. |

Sounds like the contacts are gunked up and sorry the only way to correct is to clean them by disassembly using a little alcohol.

| Re: Wow im really confused Yea clean it because thats probably the problem, because I had that problem with my old NDS but if cleaning does not work then the only other thing I can say is get a new one! BTW when opening it MAKE ABSOLUTLY CERTAIN your in a dust free or close to dust free room as possible because if dust gets under your screen its hard to get it out, I know from experience. |
