Hey, I recently got a PSP from a friend. It's already all set up properly, with the xcmb in it and everything is enabled. I've been searching the net for a few days and I still haven't gotten my problem fixed. I'm running at 4.01m33 or whatever. I'm pretty new at this too. My problem: I put themes on my PSP and they won't work. PTF's don't show up, CTF's will either convert to the default background or just show up as corrupted. I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas or help on this. I've tried a lot so far. By the way, the person who gave me the PSP had themes on there before that were working. But I messed them up by accident and they were no more good so I deleted them. The previous owner can't help because he had a friend do it all for him. So yeah, any help appreaciated, thanks.

If you deleted anything to do with the CXMB or seplugins folder or formatted the memory stick or deleted the random.ctf out of the THEMES folder or or using a different memory stick then you have disabled or damaged the ability to run the themes. With PSP completely off turn on while holding down the RIGHT Trigger button, this will open up the Recovery Menu. Go to Plugins and make sure that CXMB in enabled if not enable, if it is not there then it has been removed.

Re: Help with PSP themes. How would I find out if a Theme is 4.01? I didn't delete anything but the Random.ctf is not in there. I've never seen it there that I recall. How would I get it back/in there? Everything is enabled and where it should be in the plugins/recovery mode. Any other help is very appreaciated.

Re: Help with PSP themes. Will I lose my 4.01? And if I will, is there a way to get both on at the same time? I'm just worried if I get CXMB 3.3, will I lose some functions that I have on my 4.01? I have some games downloaded, internet, that's about it though. But will I lose the ability to do some other things? Sorry I may have this all wrong, I AM sort of new to this. If I go to 3.3, get the themes on and working, will I be able to go back to 4.01 after? 'Cause the PSP was 4.01, and had themes working on it before I broke them all, xD. Thanks again.

Re: Help with PSP themes. Hey, sorry I haven't gotten back sooner, I completely forgot to recheck. I still have the same problem, and yes I have 4.01M33. Is it possible my XCMB Is too old or something? Like the version is too old? I'll recheck later and if the version is old I'll try updating it maybe or something. It's just odd cause Themes were working before I deleted them. Is there supposed to be anything in the Theme's folder besides the themes that I may have accidently deleted? I'm pretty sure they were all the same extensions and that I only deleted themes though.
