Re: PSP doesn't work - Pandora doesn't help

Sorry must have missed your other post. I'll take a look at your dump and get back to you in about a day. Don't know at the moment what the problem is but you might try different versions of the Rain's apps, mainly the one that installs 1.50 to see if you can get one of them to work. If you can get 1.50 to install it should be ok and then you could upgrade manually.

Re: PSP doesn't work - Pandora doesn't help

I didn't even know of that app, but I'll try it now.
I have just one problem: what am I supposed to do with the program?

Am I supposed to type any commands? If yes, how and what?

Thanks.

BTW, I download iPSP. Don't know if you were talking about that.

EDIT: I found what you're talking about. I'm following a guide, just hope it solves the problem.

Re: PSP doesn't work - Pandora doesn't help

Hi Gandalf, no luck with the 1.50 one.
The 5.00 and the 4.01 don't also work, I've tried them before.

I guess my PSP must be a rare case (LOL), like, it must be the first PSP that can't be put to work using Pandora.

Any more suggestions?

Thank you.

Just the pure fact that you can load the menu for the pandora process means that it is hackable and you were running custom firmware to begin with.

I'm seriously thinking that it is a hardware failure. There is no other reason as to why it will not load the firmware.

So, I should do what? Take it to Sony?

I would recommend sending it to Sony or look into buying a used one as the cost of fixing could be as much as a used one.

A used one? You mean like those bricked PSP that are sold?

I only have one problem: I don't live in America, I live in Europe.
And there aren't many used PSPs here, if there is any.
