irritating cod 4 error(linked to warhawk???) - Game Tagg Forums - PSP Games, PSP Downloads, PSP News, and PSP Themes

i have just downloaded warhawk today, and was playing it, having a jolly good time... then my bud from down the road comes 2 my house n we get everything set up for a good ol' lan party... only problem is that everytime i go into the main lobby, it says im downloading game settings, and that takes forever, so then il either go invite a friend or find a game, and the same screen will come up, only thing is it never leaves!!! and wen i go into a private server, it freezes my ps3 and i have to reboot...

anyone know a fix? maybe warhawk did it? cuz i never had this problem before... but its bugging the shit out of me, cuz the only game i really play is cod4...

(cant be my internet connection because my buddy just decided to play without me, and is problem free... sharing my wireless signal..)

I don't really know what to tell you, other than ALWAYS PLAY COD4 ON THE 360.

on the 360, this issue was resolved by backing up, deleting, and restoring your game saves/map downloads, or , if you can do it on the ps3, clearing your cache.

-cleared the cache, nothing...
-deleted game info(gamesave, stored data)

problem still persists.

i deleted warhawk, and problem still persists, so its not the problem...

Should i reformat my ps3 hdd?

well, it started working bout an hour after uninstalling Warhawk, so i thought "hey, since it wasn't warhawk, i can still download it n play," and when i did so this morning, the problem arose once more... so now i know for sure that its warhawk... so i uninstalled it for the last time, and are just going 2 get the Greatest hits disc version .

I like cod4 on the ps3 more because its got 2 more players online Im pretty sure. other than that though, Im past that game, its history to me.

but imo, I think it was warhawks way of saying "Play me, **** cod4" XD

hah, turns out that it occuring only when warhawk was downloaded was only a coincidence... because its doing it again... so i dunno what to do...
