i was talkin with some friends about this and i can understand why they made only the 60gigs play ps2 games. coz the ps2 is still on its life span blah blah blah. but when they stop building the ps2. do ya think they will drop ps2 games on to the store so that it can be played on all the ps3s? i know the psn games are kinda like ps2 games, but a catalog of ps2 games are at their feet and i dont think ps1 ps store games are all that unless they slap some more top titles on the store

yeah, that would be a very good idea. I think they should put all (not at once but work at it) the greatest hits titles on the psn. thatd be sick.

as it stands, I think theyre focusing on the psone atm, bring a bunch of those classics back. but I think having ps2 games would be a great idea

They need to release more ps1 classics. Where's the Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy...

I don't think so. Some ps2 games range from 4-8 Gbs and the fact that some people have 40Gb ps3 editions just mean that it won't work out right.. Its not like you can upgrade the storage capacity of a ps3.

of course not, i only have 400GB left in my 500GB day one launch model, even though the highest @ launch was wut? 40 or 60??? puts was yer post a joke , or were yu actually serious??

wait what? no man, you CAN upgrade the hdd of your ps3. just look in the ps3 manual. atm I have a 500gb 7200rpm hdd in there (notebook size, of course). its the 360 hdd you cant upgrade unless you want to hack it and screw yourself or buy microsofts overpiece garb.

as for games size, thats true, but they could easily compress them like they do with the psone games they have on the store which are fairly small, but also, some DLC/install data for games is 8gb. a whole ps2 game being equal to or lesser than that? yeah I wouldnt mind that. also considering you can delete it and redownload it as many times as you want
