this is just my opinion, but i know ppl love to jump on the hype bus all the way to the retailer. i think it looks a bit weak for a start...not much detail from ive seen in vids, it looks like its running on a ps2. also every one is super hyped up on the game play coz ya can surf a dead body, and kick shit to the moon, jump over buildings and it just reminds me of a hulk game with some hijack stuff like in mercinaries2. its a cool idea from what ive read and what ive seen, but i dont think it will hold my attention with its over top somewhat game play.

what do you think?

I think it looks okay..Ive only seen one vid of it though, and Ive got other games on my list to beat atm..

dude, i am so with you on this one. Like it really does not seem that good. The developers are just showing off cool things (which i know is the idea of a demonstration, but come on show us some cut scenes and gameplay that looks intriguing). seems like a Force Unleashed and Mercs 2 dissappointment for me, and i am calling a flop right now if it comes out any time before November 2009

so if it comes out AFTER november 2009 its not a flop? I..dont really get that...

Im gonna have to actually play the game to judge it. I cant judge it by videos, screen shots, or word of mouth. only I can judge my games, physically, when I play them

i've been fascinated by this game 4 quite some time... i watched g4 (dont all that often, imo x-play is xbox fanboy news show #1) and they interviewed the guys back @ radical about this game, and the storyline he sorta painted was really interesting.. i think ittl be pure fun... assume the identity of a general, and strt killing soldiers. they wouldnt know wut 2 do... lmao

[srry 2 grave dig this thread... i was bored, nd my pc wouldn't let me on this site 2 weeks ago due 2 viruses ]

I saw that on xplay too. it is funny, they comment every 2 months about how theyre NOT being paid by microsoft to talk about it 24/7...but who the hell said theyre getting paid? all everyone is saying is that theyre 360 fanboys...but its funny how for a week they pretended to LOOOOOVE too human and continued to endorse it but after a week gave up and talked about cod4 again, JUST because their exclusive sucked and they didnt want to cut their losses and say "yeah, we got hyped for a terrible game" (like I did with haze), they instead pretend to love the hell out of it.

anyways, yeah this could be what makes or breaks radical with whats going on now. I really hope theres another time splitters but imo TS wont save em, itll probably be this game (I also heard free radical has a different name now..?)

yee, i seldom watch g4 because of it... I was browsing their site, and found this..

since when has the ps3 needed saving? IMO the 360 needs more help... they should be nervous... the ps3 is gaining ground, and the 360 is loosing its foothold in this industry

im not quite sure... I heared free radical went ass over tea kettle and canceled many of their games, ts4, Starwars: battlefront 3, ect...

yeah, it is kind of a insulting. I wouldnt say it needs saving, but it could definitely have a bigger influx of sales. its growing, but slowly. it'd be hard to word it in a few words, but Id somehow ask "will the ps3 cause a dramatic raise in ps3 console sales?" or something, not "will it save it?"

i think prototype will be an ok game for most but i think that they story and how the city changes will be some of it's best parts and deathscyth i can agree i got hyped for Haze but it didn't turn out as good as i though it would so i think tht most games get there sales from the hype that there vids and traillers make thats why they put a hell of a lot of time into them.
