infamous or prototype

i'm kind of addicted to cod4 and i feel like getting a sand box style game wid a really gud campaign so if i could only pick 1 wot wud it be out of, infamous or prototype. CUZ THEY BOTH LUK AMAZING!!!! and i still gotta save up money for tekken 6 and MW2.

i hear ya, tekken 6 is a little far off though, isnt it 3rd or 4th quarter? same with mw2, so you got time to save up. but as for infamous or prototype, well is prototype out? I mean srsly, I looked for it and someone told me it was out because they said they liked prototype better but I couldve swarn it wasnt out yet.

at any rate, I really like infamous. its sort of like fable good and evil (no neutral so its not like FO3), with gta sandbox, with super hero combat. its really fun! and it definitely has replayability. now if prototype isnt even out yet (which I dont think it is) then its not even an option till its out, so go infamous I say!

but all in all, theres a demo for infamous out. you should give it a shot, or even rent the game. it took me 2 or 3 days to beat, probably about 18-20 hours, so tons of gameplay there (another 13-15 to beat it as evil and thats a solid 31-35 hours

yh thanx ,it's still on pre-order for summer i think, so it givs me enough time to try out the demo for infamous

and the gameplay vids of prototype show sum HULK mixd with spiderman wid solid combat, sooooo i might just wait w8 till there's a review of it.

i dont know if Im wrong, but I thought that the devs of prototype also developed hulk as well (the good one), so either A. they do that genre really well (open destruction sandbox) or B. they do it well, and just reused the same engine and were lazy. it comes out really soon so we'll see, but I dont think you can go wrong with infamous. Ive almost got the platinum trophy in it, and probably spent nearly 30 hours in it, and enjoyed all that time at that.

im sorta on the fence for prototype, Im gonna see if theres a demo, or more likely, Im gonna rent it, because I really dont feel like wasting 70 bucks on a mediocre game

there will be no prototype demo, and yes, radical were the guys that did hulk - ultimate destruction (basically... the same game with a green dude instead).

it definitely had my attention early on, and it still kind of does, but i dont think i'll be picking it up. it should be out this week, i'm waiting for reviews.

yeah, I was pretty sure they did the same game, so you can be damn sure its just a slightly modified engine. which isnt a bad thing necessarily, but its not really something they go out bragging about
