According to Industry Insider, the PSP "Jpeg Magazine", Sony might impliment software that forces every one to get there own copy of a game, by "registering" each one to a specific console. This means only one copy of a game could be played on a console. This would seriously cripple the pirating community, for a while, but they would forfeit the renting business to the XBox.

True, but it also has an impact on the rental business, Sony hasn't addressed the issue as of yet, but in some surveys I've read alot of gamers will first rent through blockbuster et all before purchasing titles which they are unsure of. My thinking is that they wont stick to their gunz on this one.

It also elimates bringing the latest Madden to a bus house to through down some versus action...it will be revisted.

If Sony does that, they're shooting themselves in the foot. Like Sabroso said, it probably won't happen.

They wont do that. They are already getting sued for that incident a month ago.

Thats the stuff they used on the Music CD's if im correct, and i heard there were many problems with it.

It wont happen, the second hand market is very big when it comes to consoles, game companies arent gonna be appy!

cant see this happening, it will also mean that you have to cart your PS3 to your mates even if he has one but not the game. Plus at £50 per game (expected) mots people will try before buy.
