| GamingCrazy Addict ![]() | Re: GC Folding@Home Team (Awesome!) hopefully i can start folding again when i get my ps3 back, unfortunately my ps3 came back messed up and wouldnt let me install folding@home , but if it all works out on wednsday then ill be back, and will hopefully get my rank back up.edit- i can see they changed it to only 500,000 now or is it that i havent done it in a long time that i dont remember the number we had to do, does anyone know of a way i can use my old folding account if not its ok ill just start using my new one. | Re: GC Folding@Home Team (Awesome!) um, yea,I used to fold for the H ( team 33, the guys in first lol), they will never be beat also, I think as of last month, 23% of folders (PS3 guys) made up nearly 70% of total folding power. Just to give you a clue on the PS3's power... and its not even optimized yet, there is still a few updates to come! we had guys with 16 and 32 core rigs and 16gigs of ram JUST for folding. These guys had solid state HDD's and stuff, its a religion over there. I kinda got out of it because I never really got into it on my new rig (lol). Maybe if I ever have the time to get back into it, I can throw a few WU's down my PC. If you see a "Vaulter98c" , thats me, il try and give it a go, my rig aint no PS3
