So i can whatch my AVI files on my PS3 now? YEY!!!!!!!! I was w8ting for somthing like this / / / / / i should come to the PS3 section more offten . . . . Anyway i am going to try this now and mabby whatch my anime on my new widescreen instead of my 17" monitor. . . . Thanxorz!

umm im having some trouble getting my ps3 to pick up my pc . my pc picked up my ps3 nice and easy but do i need my ps3 wired to my router or something because it just wont pick it up.

What a fantastic guide, works absolutely perfect !!!
No more burning avi's to DVD's to watch

The only thing I had to do was go to remote play to add a device in order to see my 'media server' under video/music etc etc

Help !!!!!. Worked perfectly, avi's ran without a glitch. Now after installing new firmware 2.01 the avi's are shown but when you go to play them it then says data corrupted. MP4's still work ok just avi's. Any ideas anyone......

Right what to do if after installing 2.0 or 2.1 firmware AVI's no longer work(data is corrupted)

If your using Nero's MediaHome go to the TRANSCODING setting and select

MP3 for audio and
MPEG-1 for video

All should be well again.............

Sony stop rushing out poor firmware updates, check your firmware, test and test it again............

Seems Avi support stopped again. Unable to see any avi's from PS3. I can see everything else. Anyone else have this problem now?
