PS3 Review Tekken 5

The game is now available as a downloadable product, which makes a good deal even better. While the arcade-port-like nature of it means that you won't get any of the weird extra modes you'd expect from Tekken on a home console, you will get a rock-solid fighting game that also looks great.
This Game is of high quality, the graphics are smooth and well presented and the main menu was easy to navigate, when I selected anything, some new vcharacters include the wooden block guy now called "wanko"
The game how ever is very good and smooth it is easily played but cannot be a pick up and play again because you need to set it up first.

The actual game is very much the same as the psp version but it costs £6.99, €10 or $12.99 usd.
The game can be played in network mode or local multiplayer, the actual game is much the same as any other game in the tekken series it feature everything you would expect in a tekken game and also seems to have a few new features

The character roster in Tekken 5 contains a great mix of old favorites, some of whom haven't been seen for years. The obvious entrants, like Kazuya, Paul, Law, Yoshimitsu, King, and Nina are present, and they're joined by other occasional players, like Bryan, Lei, Hwoarang, Bruce, Baek, Anna, Lee, and Xiaoyu. Tekken 4's new introductions, Steve, Marduk, and Christie are back, and three new characters make their first appearance here: Raven is a Wesley Snipes as Simon Phoenix-like assassin that combines powerful moves with shifty, tricky behavior, up to and including the ability to teleport in some moves; Asuka is a schoolgirl, and she's also a Kazama, making her Jin's cousin and a master of the Kazama style and similar (though definitely not identical) to Jun; Feng is an evil kenpo master that enters the tournament to find some sacred scrolls that the Mishima Zaibatsu controls. The roster is diverse and exciting and it hits all the bases. The new characters fit into the action very well, and the old characters have all received enough new moves and changes to feel fresh again, though not so many that the move list will feel unrecognizable.

While you won't get bowling, volleyball, or a Tekken Force minigame, you will get ghost mode in Dark Resurrection. Unlike the arcade mode, which puts you up against a handful of fighters and then sends you to the boss fight, ghost mode is meant to replicate the experience of taking on multiple challengers in arcades. You'll continually fight different characters that are governed by different artificial intelligence profiles. So you'll encounter beginning-level Baeks that are easy to beat, but the higher-level Baek fighters know how to use his combos properly and even know a few key juggles. This goes a long way to making them feel more like real human beings, since they all fight differently.

id give the game an 8.0

Re: PS3 Review Tekken 5

Pretty short review. Very short lol. Not really useful to me but good effort (you might want to edit it though. Its hard to read with so many grammar errors).

Re: PS3 Review Tekken 5

Hehe i was dissapointed with that as well. I had though it would come with online so i bought it, but when i saw it has no online and lacking downloadable content i got a bit annoyed. It could have been better with online , a lot better but at the end the games system was made nicely.

I meant all the symbols which were, my mistake, typos not grammar (eg [ and the like). No offense meant either way. I see you edited and made it longer (lol 5 lines wasnt a review, I shoulda guessed you would add more). Its a good review now. Im getting the game on the back of it so thanks a bunch!
