Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Hi, As I am sure everyone knows about Infinity Ward's controversial switch in styles from a World War II setting to a Current day terrorist killing setting I won't spent too much time on that, but one thing I really must say is they have perfected this 'Modern Day' setting.

FIRST HOUR OF PLAY

My first hour of playing was a roller coaster of a ride, visually CoD4 looks like an Interactive movie when running in HD it's that good, you'll use night vision that looks like the one from army adverts, set pieces are done to perfection and feel...well...feel real. But would all that graphical power matter if the game was poor, well no worries here especially using the new Imported Dual Shock 3 the guns play like there real life counter parts they act like they should. Enemy AI is amazing, they will flank, hide, duck, cover, use grenade's strategically in fact it begs to question, are these enemies cleverer than you are?

ONLINE

After completing the game I took it online and with the exception's of four FPS's I've never been blown away like this, those games were Halo 3, CounterStrike : Source, Gears of War and Resistance Fall of man, but Id even go as far as saying this (eek) is the best online game I've ever played

OVERALL

GAMEPLAY - 10 - The Gameplay is amazing honestly you owe it to yourself to play this

SOUND - 9.2 - Great sound you'll hear the usual gunfire and calls of 'Frag Out' but friends will Interact

GRAPHICS - 9.5 - Motion Blur and Stunning visuals make this the second prettiest console game I've ever played falling just short of Uncharted : Drakes Fortune

REPLAYABILITY - 9.7 - Online and The scoring points after you've completed the game will keep you coming back for more and more

OVERALL - 9.6 - Possibly the best game of 2007 GET THIS NOW!

Totally agree with everything ya say mate, its like your in a documentary.

And yeah, the enemy are deffo smarter than me.

I don't know why you think it is controversial. I never liked WW2 games and since this wasn't it, I got it ages ago and it is fantastic. Stuff WW2. It was getting stale and it is just ugly anyways.

online is lagish and full of bullshit cause a enemy kills me with on built from a pistol and i need to use a m60e4 with a 100 bullets to even hurt someone
