Review: Final Fantasy Crisis Core

Final Fantasy Crisis Core is asumed to be one of the best rpgs on the system, does it live up to the hype or is it just another durdge of ciberous?

as a member of the power company SHINRA you take the task of preforming several missions all with the overall meta plot of a 1st class solder who is MIA. the story is lost if you dont understand japanese but if you happen to be able to read or listen and understand japanese you will be off all the better. zacks sephiroth and cloud are back with some new added faces angel another one of hojo's experemens like sephiroth, and gennises. the story comes acrossesed in vivid voice acting and charecture animations that infuse this title with more drama then final fantasy X had.

the game has a verry liner feel to it like most of the newer final fantasys. the levels as stright forward as they are are not boring at all with plenty of cutscrens throwen in before battles. its quite nice. for a 7-10 hour game the game has no paceing issues and is a constent ride that you will not want to put down tell its over. and even rewards you for going though it a second time.

crisis core has a truly active battle system where you run around slashing or casting magic on your enemys while all the time a magical slots wheel is spining in the bg randomly giving you special moves. the likley hood of these powerfull atacks seems to increses with the less health you have. the game play is realy smooth.

Crisis Core trows you right into the action with some beautifully rendered cut screens that out shine advent children. and when it gets in game you will be amazed at what graphics this psp title has to offer. the in game grapics are amazing with tons of empises to detail from evoryones gravity defying hair to the creases in zacks pants to his face as he talkes and even individual fingers as some charectures make hand gestures. this game is by far the most graphicly amazing game on the system yet.

overall i cant give a final score as i dont underdstand the story yet. but let me just say this is one of the most amazing games i have ever played.

Nice review. I wish I could play this, but I need a bigger memory stick . Hopefully gameplay videos will hold me over until next year when the US version releases. I have been hearing that the downside of this game is its linearity however. Is this true?

well look at it this way its FF XII

there is a main story

and side missions.

you can wonder around a small section of midgar at times.

missions are long paths with a ending and sometimes backtracking. it jumps when you goto missions... not like FF VII where you follow your own way from point a to point b.

tere is no ENGLISH option at all

it is subed however... in japanese...

over all a grate game.

i cant wait tell i get my LE box set... if some site owner would buy me a LE FFVII potion >.> i would write him a realy in depth review with tons of pics ^^

I would say complete the game first before reviewing it. Then the review would be more meaningful.
