| Lets clear some thing up first - This is about the psp game, the puzzle game not the emo mice, not the downgrade program or whatever it is- ![]() So im following the official format(i added the lil score part) ... Story - None, its a puzzle game...but there are two colors for each skin and blocks, divided up into four smaller blocks, fall. The four smaller blocks may be one of the skin's two colors. You must match up four blocks (the small ones) of the same color(or more to rack up combos) when the scanner that moves across the screen comes across to where the match is the matched blocks will disappear and you will get points according to how many matches there were. Story Score - 4/5 Graphics - The graphics of this lovely game are above par for a handheld puzzle game. I truly like them. They make the game feel futurey and sleek. The backrounds rock! ![]() ![]() Graphics Score - 4/5 Sound - The best part of the game. There is a cool, unique song that fits perfectly with each skin. So many songs and awesome sound effects. This game is perfect in the sound department. Sound Score - 5/5 Controls - Simple, no learning curve at all there are three configuration options total, two involving the face buttons and one with the triggers(my personal fav). Gameplay - Guess what. I like the gameplay also! as with the controls, pretty much non-existent learning curve. I think I covered the concept of game play in the first passage so i will just include a picture and brief description of every game mode. Challenge mode - You will most likely find yourself playing this mode the most, You play through different skins to unlock them and songs, screen shot of that in graphics section(both of them are). Single skin mode - Choose from a skin you have collected and play, play, play... Time attack - basically like Single skin mode except you play to see how many points you can get in either 60 seconds, 180 seconds,300 seconds, or 600 seconds. 2p vs mode - wi-fi to a friends psp, pick your skin, and you each get half the screen. The more matches one player makes, the more of the screen he controls, the first person to stack off the screen ("death" in any mode obv) loses(its harder the less amount of screen you control because you can only stack blocks on space you control and you have less space to work with). vs cpu mode - same game play as in 2p vs mode exept versus the computer (or psp...not a person either way) to unlock skins! puzzle mode - form certain shapes within the time limit to win new avatars an such. Gameplay score - 5/5 Difficulty - Easy to pick up and play...but extremely hard to become a master. The means it is addicting. Mulityplayer - haven't tried it personally, but im sure it rocks like the rest of the game. Also i cant find a picture of it online! PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS GUIDE FOR THIS!!! if someone would provide a picture i would be VERY happy.....credits.... Mulityplayer Score - N/A Replay Value - Did tetris ever get boring? funny thing...neither does this game!!!! Overall - I LOVE LUMINES. its a very fun and addicting game and i am still playing it. Final Score - 4.5/5 - Excellent!!! I need that picture folks... |
