MLB 2K8 -Review-

Here is my review of the PSP sports game, MLB 2K8

Lets start with gameplay. This game has everything except for Superstar mode, which is alright. It plays like any other baseball game. But it freezes at times and there are a few glitches here and there. Like the bat flying in places where it shouldn't. The club house allows you to play trivia, darts, and air hockey, which is cool. So it's pretty much just like any other baseball game. I give gameplay a 6 out of 10.

The controls are not that great. Fielding is a bit wonky and hitting is most times a nightmare. I kept getting frustrated when there would be a long bomb and my fielder would dive when the ball is 20 feet away and i didn't even press anything. Hitting was alright at times but it was really hard to do. I only got hits of of star players and anyone else i wouldn't do as well with. I give controls a 5 out of 10

Graphics where horrible. Most of the time the guys look like there face got smashed by a hammer and there pixels are all over. They looked decent when it went into fielding but other than that they were not as good as the should have been. I give graphics a 3 out of 10

It was somewhat fun at times but other than that I just got mad at the game. I give fun a 5 out of 10

Sound is alright. The announcers say things that don't even have to do with the game at times, Like for me it was the 5th inning or so and I hit a triple bringing in a run and one of them yelled "And that hit brings in the winning run!" Other than that, everything was good. I give sound a 6 out of 10

The game overall is fair, not what it could have been, but the price was set alright, even though for the caliber of that game it should have sold for 15 or 20 dollars. You can get this game if you are really craving baseball and only got 30 bucks, but get MLB 08: The Show, that game is much better.
