5.55 and 6.00 games playble on 5.00M33-6 Don't see a post anywhere regarding Yoshihiro's new eboot decypter and patcher. It's golden so far, I patched the untouched ISO of Gran Turismo with this tool and am now playing it on mu phatty running 5.00M33-6. Everything is working, saves, sleep mode and of course driving sweet cars. Next up: Motor Storm PixelJunk Monsters Last edited by TreK; 1 Week Ago at 02:15 PM..

Re: 5.55 and 6.00 hames playble on 5.00M33-6 Hi Trek. Ive been looking for a post like this and and happy to hear you got GT working on 5.00M33-6. I have the same version and think ive followed the instructions to the letter on Yoshihiro's new eboot decypter to run GT. Yoshihiro's instructions ================= 1 :lets go first you need to install the GameZDecryptZ folder in your X SP/GAME folder2 : Open you iso with UMDGEN 4 3 : Go to File>File List>Export 4 : Save it as Filelist.txt 5 : Extract the EBOOT.BIN with UMDGEN4 in PSP_GAME/SYSDIR 6 : put your EBOOT.BIN extracted from UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR and put it on root of your memory stick 7 : now you can boot game decrypter now you can press X 5 seconds later it's done ![]() 8 : connect your usb cable check on root of your memory stick you have a new folder called decryptor 9 : copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen 10 : Go to File>File List>Import 11 : Choose Filelist.txt 12 : Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save 13 : REbuild your ISO. Get stuck on 9 where it says copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen. There is no option to paste on umdgen not even on right click. So i just draged it from the decryptor folder to umdgen where it asked me did i want to replace so i said yes. I asume it did. So now when i boot GT up i get the sony logo and some message about not turning the psp off while autosave is on then the dreaded black screen of death! mmmm any suggestions m8. I know im close! BTW i did press O while running decryptor to patch the eboot.

Re: 5.55 and 6.00 hames playble on 5.00M33-6 Sounds like you did everything correctly regarding patching of the ISO. Perhaps it's the ISO mode you are using on your PSP? When I play GT, I use the M33 driver. (double checking now). Yup, M33 works OK. Just out of curiosity, I tried the NP9660 Sony ISO driver\emulator (whatever people want to define it as) and it also works. So, maybe try messing with your settings in recovery. I pretty much have everything turned to default for boot.bin settings and the others that have to do with loading games. Outside of that, maybe its the ISO. When you decrypted and patched the eboot, did it actually give you the message that it found an encrypted eboot and it was patched successfully. If all else fails, check your favorite torrent tracker again, theres a good chance that someone has re-upped a patched version of the game for 5.00M33-6. If that still does not run, then its your settings for sure. I know its a big download but, sometimes that's the only way to prove that it's not the ISO but, something else (I'm still leaning towards settings because it sounds like you patched it OK). Good luck.

Re: 5.55 and 6.00 hames playble on 5.00M33-6 Hi again Trek. Thanks for the reply. Yes i came to the conclusion that perhaps it was the ISO so i did another download. Unfortunatly i had the same result. I also changed the recovery back to default settings but no luck. After many hours i decided to change my firmware from 5.00 M-33 to 5.50 GEN-B(Full). Decrypted the ISO with Yoshihiro following the instructions. I had decided at this point if it didn't work this time i would give up but thankfully GT booted up first time yeeehaaaaa. So im not sure why it would work on your M-33 but not mine mmmmmm. Without your first post i wouldnt have come this far and now i have the game ive been waiting for so my thanks goes out to you and the good people that have helped me on this forum Gandalf and co

Re: 5.55 and 6.00 hames playble on 5.00M33-6 I don't think that CSO Vs. ISO would make a difference but, you can always save the output file as ISO after patching or, use the CISO utility to un-compress the original CSO. Come to think of it, my version of the game is an ISO so, maybe you're onto something there. With a 16 GB card, I'm not so worried about saving space anymore so, just got lazy and went with the ISO original. Let us know if it works as an ISO.
