Ok, i can see that this has confused some ppl. in steps.

1 - download the update.exe from the link.

2 - right click on update.exe, click extract to update (this makes a new folder called update)

3 - go into the newly extracted folder and run the setup file.

This does work i assure you as i have put it on around 30 computers for mates and other ppl on irc have had success once I told them about it.

there is no extract button and when im opening it with winrar it asks for the cd

I Extracted The Files And ran the setup it said i needed the cd ... >_<

This is a full version of Sony Image Converter 2 Plus not an upgrade version so it doesn't need a cd to install it, here is the link to download:
