Hi, whilst browsin sony's site i came across this update to image converter 2 Plus edition. i downloaded it and found that it's the full program. it asks for the cd, but there's a way around it.

grab the update from here - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

just click accept to download it. once it's downloaded, use winrar to extract the setup files from the file you downloaded. then run the setup file that's in the newly extracted folder.

enjoy, you've just saved £20

nice find mate....been trying to find a free version of this for ages? How do you get past when it ask's for the disc though?

downloading it now but why does it say u require a the CD? why is an update a whole new application....sony is weird

it asks for the CD because you arerunning the setup that you downloaded.
if you right click on that setup file and use winrar to extract the setup file from it, then it bypasses the copy protection

It dont work, it is only an upgrade, anyone have the full version, or point me in the general direction???

That's what i thought.....there's no way to overide when it ask's for the CD, i did extract the file with winrar and just ran the Setup file, not the Update File!
