Yeah I was wondering about buying the WiFi Max is it any good?

So theres no point in getting this? Ive been saving up for one to play SOCOM online , and I will no way know how to set a wireless router up so is Wifi max a better option and easy to set up?

Im not sure about wifi max but linksys have come out with this new thing which does the ecact same thing as the wifi max but i think its cheaper and its easier to use sence it just sticks in like a usb memory stick, and as for wifi max well i think ur better of with a wirless router or the new lynksys things sence its by a more trusted brand and is specially built for psp.

Get this
if you have a wireless network set up atm using G then get this so it can run on B and not set your router as 'mixed'-that'll slow down your G network

if your dont want the hassle (not much really) of setting up a router then get this.

lastly if you can get it cheaper than a wireless router then get this.

Dont get this if
you dont want two wireless networks running in your house

if you are going to complain on this forum about how this sucks(it is wat it is-to be a plug and play device with little setup, ppls problems are with the setup or the range of the device)

if you want a large range (im happy as it covers comp, living, bedroom and i can run it with out WEP so it doesnt slow down and not worry about next door stealing my net connection cause it doent reach that far)

this is my opinion so dont flame if you dont agree, and i think the main point is keeping all the fast devices on G and the psp on a sep network on B.

Do not buy this product! you have to efff with your setting on your comp so much... its not worth it..

wifimax is from 40$ to 50$ it depends on the place where you buy it from
