Well my NETGEAR DG834G v2 54Mbps ADSL Wireless Router finally arrived this week and it's pretty great. Took me a while to get the port forwarding to work (Two stage process instead of one with this router - pft!) but everything is peachy now. Works great with my PSP (50%-100% strength throughout the house) and even hooked my PS2 up with an ethernet connection and been playing that online too!

Thanks for the recommendation zMastaa!

Yeah, the actual setup of the router took less than two minutes - just put in my internet account details and I was away! As I said, the port forwarding isn't just a matter of putting in the settings and clicking a button - you first have to register each port as a 'service' and then add it to the 'forwarding' list which is a bit long winded - but that's the only annoyance that I've had.

There was a lot of talk about faulty firmwares etc, that put me off slightly, but I think they must be corrected by now, cause it works like an absolute charm for me - and it looks delicious too !

Re: What you need 2 play online (this is aimed to Europe)

I give up. I have been trying the Kai thing for the past week. I have a BT Fast Internet Connection, I have a Belkin 4 Port Wireless Router with a Belkin USB Network Adapter. I have everything set up and connected, followed every tutorial to the letter, but Kai doesn't say that I am connected and I cant host or join games. I desperately want to play on-line as there are not that many people with PSP's in the UK yet and I am getting bored. If anyone has any idea's on how to help me or any other programmes, servers etc. please let me know:-?

I've got a Belkin Modem/Wireless Router, I can connect from the PSP to see about getting Firmware updates, does this mean I could probably go online with it???

Re: What you need 2 play online (this is aimed to Europe)

I'm just curious, is it really true that European Internet is faster, and how fast is it? I have Insight Broadband that averages 384kbps, and that's good in the US, how fast can it go over there?
