i heard something about transfering your old data to the new game. whats that all about? what do you get from it?

Basically, you transfer over your savedata from MHP 1 to 2. You get your character, and 10% of money, I think..

u get the rare-3 items (all those u had on MHF), ur name imported, and tckets for all the equips rare5-7... the rarer the items the better the ticket... tickets are used to get better equips easy... like for example... i have an IRON KATANA wich i used a HARD TiCKET and 1 iron ore... normally it would take like 5 iron ores and a bunch more of items... basically... the better completed the first game and better weaps u get ur life easier on MHF2... and yeah u get a portion of ur money... i ha like 156million on MHF and got 670k on MHF2...

i played it, i didnt transfer my data. i geuss you can say that mh2 is better but they fixed the money transfer "cheat" so you cant get money easily anymore =[

How does MHF 2 compare to MHF 1? A lot better? I am thinking of buying it, because I enjoyed MHF 1.

well i'm thinking of buying it but i realized MH1 took up so much of my time, over 100 hours, I don't want to get sucked into MH2 just yet, but i bet its better.

MHF was a very hard game but im surely going to keep playing the second one when i get a chance .

Raziel is totally right i got lot of better weapons n better cuztumize them ,so u can cheat downloading a save file from other person that play MHF1 for money example i take it from Krispin so i could have money n some items .
