awww has a good point there. I havn't found anything in my research to say that there is any difference in PSP-2000 motherboards. Have you tried swapping memory cards jing?

I using same memory card, same FAT, same version, all same thing to test
It pretty simply. the black psp i bought when the first day slim release
While the white psp i bought 6 month later.
Sony fix those bug in later motherboard.
I think those people who have 2 different psp in different release day will know the different.
Why dun u try out ur self if u have 2 diff psp

And how much difference are we talking about?

I haven't seen on any message board /forums about any revision of the motherboards, and if it is so I think it has nothing to do with the color of the PSP.
