psp 3000 ofw 4.01

hi guys. i need your help.
i have here a psp 3000 ofw 4.01. i want to downgrade it or upgrade in order to put a game on my memory stick.
i also have a pandora battery but my stick is only for 3.71 m33 -2 only.
i bought my psp yesterday. its the latest psp here in japan (psp 3000).
can you help me to downgrade my psp. i have a pandora batt, so i only need is files that i can put on my memory stick to downgrade my psp. thanks guys!

No customfirmware for the PSP-3000 as of yet.

If you do indeed have a PSP-3000(which I doubt since it is not released in Japan until Oct 16) since the developers of m33 have not even seen one there has been no work on it. The latest version of the slim PSP-2000 is so far un hackable. The pandora setup does not work on the newest motherboards they have out and the PSP-3000 is expected to at least have it so that means no custom firmware on the PSP-3000 at this time.

sorry! my psp is only psp 2000. i see the verson on the back of the battery slot. can you help me to downgrade my psp?

There are some new PSP Slims out now that has a newly designed motherboard that will not run the pandora stick, the custom firmware makers have not yet come up with a method to do it. The battery will put the PSP into service mode but the memory stick will not run.

If the pandora setup will work the memory stick that you have will work 3.71m33-2 will run on a slim, then you can just do a manual upgrade to 4.01m33-2.

thanks for the help. i really appriate it. but my padora doest work or may be my stick. i dont know.?? when i put my stick then my pandora, black screen only w/ green light on the side.
how can i manually upgade it to 4.01m33-2?

You can not manually upgrade from official firmware to custom firmware. If you do have one of the new ones there is nothing you can do at this time.

Make sure you make your magic memory stick on Windows XP and not Vista, if you don't have one of the PSP's with the new motherboards. Also, im not sure if you could do this but if you could, change the thread title to something more related to your problem.

Actually there are a few programs out now that work on Vista just fine. I've tested and they work with no problem.

Oh thats great, wish they could've had that out when i was trying to get custom firmware because Vista drove me hella crazy lol.
