| GamingCrazy Newbie | fat or fat32?? my psp spesification: -slim -cfw 4.01 m33-2 -sony msd 4gb (high speed) my question: -what format is better,fat or fat32 -if i play the game and i want to quit,why the " please wait " is to long and sometimes can't to off my psp ![]() THANKSSSS |

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: fat or fat32?? is your mem card official or a fake? because fakes are slower than official mem cards. in the older days of custom firmware, for the best performance for a 4gb mem card was in the fat file format. but on recent custom firmware, this is not the case. none of the games will show up on the psp if the mem card is in the fat file format. it could be the case, that you are using a micro sd card and not a "memory stick pro duo" mem card.

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: fat or fat32?? have a look at this guide "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]". this guide was written for a pc or laptop running on XP. but as your psp is on v4.01m33-2, the games will not show up if you format the mem card to the FAT file format. the mem card must be in the FAT32 file format for the psp to recognise the games. but it's up to you if you want to try it.
