Re: fat or fat32??

is your mem card official or a fake? because fakes are slower than official mem cards.

in the older days of custom firmware, for the best performance for a 4gb mem card was in the fat file format. but on recent custom firmware, this is not the case. none of the games will show up on the psp if the mem card is in the fat file format.

it could be the case, that you are using a micro sd card and not a "memory stick pro duo" mem card.

Re: fat or fat32??

have a look at this guide "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]". this guide was written for a pc or laptop running on XP.

but as your psp is on v4.01m33-2, the games will not show up if you format the mem card to the FAT file format. the mem card must be in the FAT32 file format for the psp to recognise the games. but it's up to you if you want to try it.

Re: fat or fat32??

usually i would take you up on that. but i think it's also a fake. and the other factor, is that the mem card is a Micro SD card. and not a pro duo.

sorry but no bet gandalf

Damn, but isn't a Sony msd also another term for memory stick duo? Does Sony even make a micro SD card?
