| King Of Toast! ![]() | Re: Wifi Spy Cam for PSP Well there is a camera for the PSP called the Chotto Shot. As for the Wifi-Cam idea, it's not that far fetched as I remember a long time ago there was a homebrew app that actually sent images from a camera to your PSP without having it hooked to the unit but you still needed the internet connection to view them on your PSP. I think they haulted work on it as it's been a long time since I've seen anything about the app. Streaming vids to the PSP is kinda a simple process as for Cam streams thats a bit different, it would heavily depend on the actual execution of the camera feed. If the PSP can handle the data output from the camera then it will work but if it can't read the data or handle the stream then your at a loss. I believe the app I mentioned before only worked because the guy was using only HIS camera, so you'd get HIS images and not your own. I believe DAX doesn't work on such mods as that as he usually is more into the whole firmwares and such, don't quote me on that. Perhaps there could be a way to work this modded idea of yours on the PSP's actual camera but the main issue is that without being hooked up to the PSP how would the camera get power and how would you control it? You need to access the controls on the PSP's Screen in order to take a picture or video. Unless the made some sort of Wireless USB set up where you hook up the USB parts needed to the PSP and then have the camera seperate but even then I don't know if it would work that well. Also since depending on distance your target is for the movie or photo you'll need to adjust the lense, that you have to do on the camera itself, kinda depletes the whole spy-cam kinda deal. You mind if I ask why you need a Spy-Cam? |
