****quick question about playing a movie file****

so, i was just wondering what would happen if i download movies to my psp and then hook up my psp to my laptop and then open movie file under the psp file location under the psp drive on the laptop.

would that movie file launch from the psp into windows media player, from the location under the psp attached? i mean, would the file be traceable and execute on the laptop itself, thus leaving a copy that the file was played on the laptop and not from the psp. or is it executed on the psp drive itself, and not traceable on the laptop. hopefully this makes sense to you guys.

I guess it would be the same as opening a movie file from a thumb drive attached to a laptop. when you execute the file on the thumb drive does it make a copy of the file on the laptop hard drive before it executes?

No it does not make a copy, the file runs from the memory stick of the PSP or USB thumb drive.
