CSO files will not play!

hey, I have a psp 1000 with custom firmware 5.00m33-6
I can play psx backups and SNES roms which I respectfully own the actual cartridge..

But I cannot run any CSO psp backups.. I checked the help tutorial for playing ISOs and it was not much help.. does anyone know how I can fix this? It just simply says game could not be started. (80020130) My umd drive works fine, just I have the habit of mis-placing my UMD games and it would be very handy if I could just play the games from my psp memory stick

are there any plugins for my version I should be aware of to play CSO files?

- I also tried converting back to ISO, and changing the UMD ISO MODE... no luck

Depends on what games you are trying to play. The newer games have to be patched in order to play on 5.00m33-6.

Okay, is there a program to patch them or is this task done manually?

There are different programs, Yoshiras game decrypter(spelling wrong) is one then there is a different patch program but can't think of the name. Since you are downloading games anyways just get the one that are already patched and save yourself the trouble.
