Yeah, its new battery time. The good news is that they aren't THAT expensive, and almost everyone sells them.

Re: PSP won't charge....help!!

Yeah I had that problem a long time ago too, as it turns out I tested a few things. It seems that the USB Chargers are only as powerful as the port, if you have an iMac don't plug it in the keyboard your battery will never charge, plug it in on the side. If you have a laptop it should be ok. I usually plug it into my PS2. I'll post a link with some video footage to show what I mean later in the week.

Re: PSP won't charge....help!!

is the charger from the US or Jap.

cuz that could effect your psp cuz of different electric outputs in different countries

and since your psp is a Jap. one ane if your charger s also Jap. you might need one of those electric output levl converter things depending on where you live

Re: PSP won't charge....help!!

if u did get ur psp from japan u got to get a converter cuz its gonna either burn ur outlet or ur charger sooner or later (this happened with me but not on a psp i like to import) cuz the power levels are different especially if u get something from England.

Then when I turn on my psp thru the adapter to check the batt status, it says it's at 0% and charging but it still doesn't charge my batt....any one know what's wrong?

Does it have to be a usb 2.0 port to charge? Is there something wrong with my psp or batt??
What Kind of Mac have you? I had the same issue with my Powerbook G4, what the problem is your computer doesn't giv too much power to the USB port, so to charge it you need a more powerful computer like the iMac, sometimes the USB port on a laptop can charge the PSP but that depends on the way you hook up the USB cable, either wya the charge rate is slow.
