PSP won't charge....help!!
I usually charge my psp thru my computer's usb port but this it hasn't been charging since the whole of last night!

When I plug the cable in, it shows the orance charging light as normal...but when I unplug it ans try to switch on it won't turn on.

Then when I turn on my psp thru the adapter to check the batt status, it says it's at 0% and charging but it still doesn't charge my batt....any one know what's wrong?

Does it have to be a usb 2.0 port to charge? Is there something wrong with my psp or batt??

possibly a battery fault? have you any friends with a psp which you can try your battery in or vice versa?

Yes I would try that. Cause it sounds very nasty, as even the normal ac adaptor didn't work.

new batt?

think i'll try it on my fren's first....
Can't possibly be batt fault as i just got my psp abt a month ago...

dont rule it out. just cos something is one month old doesnt mean components can't fail. put a friends battery in your psp and see if it'll charge their's. if it does its your battery thats at fault

Can't imaging what's gonna happen....sigh

Hopefully getting a new batt will solve the problem.

Does anyone else have this kinda problem?

Also, if I charge my psp thru usb port, does it have to be a 2.0 port or the normal 1.1 will do?

is your psp not covered by some sort of warranty or guarantee? take it back to the place you bought it? assuming you bought it brand new

ive only heard of one psp virus so far, the effects of which have never included stopping the battery from charging as far as i know? someone might want to correct me on this if im wrong
