The graphics are the original PC graphics - its a conversion of the PC Doom engine nothing more, nothing less - it uses the same data files as the PC original... If you've ever seen/owned a GP32 you will have seen Doom running on that - which is also a port of the original - and you can use non-commercial WADs (e.g. Simpsons, Aliens, etc...) The biggest problems I can see are: 1) The gun/fist problem... 2) Not full screen yet... But it is only the first release! Hopefully someone out there will take the work done on the GP32 version of Quake and convert it to the PSP too - now that would be awesome.... (its pretty damn good on the Gp32 - but a tad choppy). |
