Impressions on PSP Piracy

I do sometimes, but only to test games out, but if i like a game, I do buy it.

But i recently bought my bro a 2.50 psp -updated to 2.70, and I'm using his more than my 1.50 (downgraded it to test worms). Now his has no dead pixels, mine has 3. So another reason why I use the 2.70 (no dead pixels) but when he gets his for his b'day, he'll update his as well. So im just gonna sell the 1.50 on ebay cuz it hardly gets used. When i first found i could use isos, yeh i downloaded pratically every game. To test it. If i didnt like it, it soon got deleted, and if i did, then out i went n bought it

But recently, im not even testin that many games before buyin them. Only worms as i've never played it before, n didnt know if i'd like it. Am unsure on whether i like it or not lol. Well i do, but dunno if its worth the money. I havent actually deleted the iso yet, cuz im unsure, and got my bro to test it, but we've only tested it once each. So im not just playin on it instead of buyin it. Cuz at the end of the day, how are the developers gonna know if we like a game, if we dont buy it?

And ur comment bout ppl complainin that they cant play syphon filter on 1.50, that just makes me laugh. I have the exact same sentiments, which put me off of isos.
Although in my case, it was everyone complainin GTA didnt work on 1.50 although bein 2.00 some just upgraded and downgraded. But some were complainin that the iso didnt work on 1.50 - simple answer, go & buy it.
And then it was Smackdown vs War, which required 2.50, loads of ppl were again complainin, that the iso, and the umd didnt work on 1.50 But i just think if they really want it that much, they should buy it and upgrade anyway. And its cuz of loads of ppl complainin that things dont work on 1.50, put me off usin isos for testin as well (and plus some games i wanted to test didnt work anyway, but i didnt complain, i just went n bought the game instead)

i do it to test....and i own a majority of the actual games

but i NEVEr have hated on ISOs i support them....

Of the people i seen around with psps...90% of em don't even kno what an ISO is.. They think a PSP is for Games, Movies, Music and tahts it.

So i think theres somewhat of a balance...

But i don't support Full 100% ISO usage...Thats just selfish

i didn't pirate a psp game even when i had 1.5. I just played homebrew such as the not illegal homebrew (emulators). I buy about 2 psp games per year since of my budget. This year i bought more games then last year in gba, psp, ds, and gcn.

I do download Illegal Games, well at first when I came to this site I just browsed the Direct Downloads. But now I've changed, although I still download and play I often buy games occasionally. But I download more than buy.

i do not play pirate games on PSP, honestly speaking, i might give it a shot,
cause i want to learn how it works, but good games force me to keep upgrating,
like gta, syphon filter, i only play what i really want to, and i do believe that
pirate games and downgrader make PSP damaged, another point is that quality is much important than quantity, when i turn on my PSP, i'm ready to enjoy good stories,nice graphics and sounds.

i did play pirate games on PS2, quality just sucks, dark graphics, sometimes no music, and even freeze when you are going to hit the record, then you have to start it all over again.
A PS2 pirate game costs $4.70 to $6.25 in Taiwan, in China, it's RMB 5 per pirate game! like $0.625!!! you can buy as many as you want, but it's just a waste of money if it's not enjoyable.

I don't pirate cause I like the new features in the updates. Maybe if there is a way to do it in 2.7 i may stop updating but i don't know how well it is going.

Aight This is my take on it. When I first bought my psp i had version 2.01 and I played the games that I bought. I used the homebrews from the GTA exploit and then I traded my PSP to my friend so that I can have 1.5. So since I have 1.5 I only downloaded 2 isos out of my time since having my 1.5 psp. Ive tried to make a copy of my cousins UMD but it didnt work so I might just start buying UMDs and use the Dev Hook Emu. To Make a long story short I might just end up upgrading my psp to the most recent FW and start buying UMDs again.

You should contact some of the Admins/Mods. But the staff doesn't fully know what's planned for the future of V3.
