| King Of Toast! ![]() | Re: Mac MP4 Video Encoders Converters for the PSP! I figured a way to make really High Quality AVC movies on my Powerbook G4. Programs needed: Handbrake Forty-TwoDVD VXPlus PSPWare What you do first is download Handbrake for Mac Os 10.4 Handbrake is a perfect DVD ripping program, it takes the specific movie files and changes them into certain formats. Part 1 1.Open the Handbrake APP 2.Insert DVD of chosing, doesn't matter if it's encrypted or not. 3.Under File format select AVI/MP3 Audio 4.Under Launguage slelect what you want, with me I always use English Subtitles and Japanese Launguage. 5.Select Rip, it should give you an estimated time for it to be done, be prepaired for some long waits, go watch a movie or eat a lunch, but belive me it's worth the wait. 6.When your DVD is done being ripped, check for a file on your selected save spot, it will be called Movie.avi Notes:After the movie is done, you can rename the Movie.avi file to whatever you want Ex: Movie.avi -> Bleach Episode 1.avi Part 2 1.Open Forty-TwoDVD VXPlus 2.Select the + button 3.Select the .avi movie you want to convert 4.If you haven't selected PSP format as automatic converter, just click the PSP button 5.Click advanced options 6.Under Format select H.264 7.Qulity slide to Better Quality 8.Desired size, slide to the max memory size 9.Click convert, then yet again it should give you an estimated time, so go do other things, when it's done you could either send them to the PSP or quit the program 10.When you quit the program the next time you start it, the menu will be cleared...but no need to fear your converted movie is located where the movie you wanted to convert is, so whereever you put the avi file the mp4 file will be. Notes:You can convert the movie to either MP4 or AVC movies, but a lot of ripped DVD's can be huge in size, so if you convert into MP4 movies, you might have memory issues for your PSP and Computer, MP4 Movie files basically use the full memory of the file, so if your ripped movie is 70.6MB your converted MP4 will be 83.4MB Download the Forty-TwoDVD VXPlus program As far as the THM file is concerned use a program like PSPWare. 1.Open the PSPWare folder 2.Open the Movies folder 3.Make a new folder and call it MAQ00001 Then open the MAQ00001 folder 4.Make a new folder again inside the MAQ00001 folder and label it Auto Convert Now rename your new AVC/MP4 movie into MAQ00001.MP4 then open the PSPWare APP 5.Click the Movies button and look for Auto Convert, click the play arrow, when the movie gets to the title, or any part you'd like as your THM logo, press Set as Thumbnail, and there you go an THM file to go with your converted movie! 6.reopen the Movies file in the PSP file and go back to the MAQ00001 file and take your Movie and THM file and return them to where you want, on the Computer or PSP. I know this seems like quite a bit of time, but it's not and you'll really find it to be a lot of help, I like PSPWare it's good for simple conversions but the Quality stinks. |

| GamingCrazy Rookie ![]() | Re: Mac MP4 Video Encoders Converters for the PSP! Why are you converting a movie twice ? What do you think it's getting you to go to .avi file first then to PSP format? If anything you'll get a degraded movie that's being compressed 1 time more than it needs to be. |
