| GamingCrazy Newbie ![]() | Re: Impressions on your NEW PSP go here! Yeah, like probably everyone here, I love my psp. I first got mine I think October of '06 after working my butt off at a roof job with my dad...that in itself probably made me love my psp cause I worked so hard for it...anyways.. So uh I got the psp slim daxter 9/6/07. I had sold my psp to my neighbor a month earlier before the psp slim came out so I could still get a decent amount of money for it. When the 6th came around I think it was a thursday and I was on this website when it said PSP SLIM DAXTER OUT IN STORES!..So I called my local walmart with my heart beating so fast with excitement and after about a 5 minute hold which seemed like forever they said it was instock and I grabbed my money and as soon as my mom pulled in the driveway from work I ran outside said mom dont even get out of the car we need to go to walmart right now. Sooo I bought my psp slim with a pack of official sony screen protectors (these suck, only the 4 corners stick to the screen so its air bubble heaven in the middle). And I got home savored every moment of opening my shiny psp and washed my hands with soap and water and used skin oil remover on my hands to make sure I wouldnt leave fingerprints and I put on my screen protector in an almost dust free environment...now that I look back on it It was like I was performing open heart surgery lol. But psp withdrawl will do that to ya. Oh and on October 9th I got my battery and memory stick back in the mail from some guy on ebay (since I knew no one with homebrew on their psp's) and it was all set to go and I downgraded. I have been CFW since playing super mario 64, super mario brothers deluxe for gbc (lol who would have thought it would ever be possible to see nintendo material being run on sony merchandise...the insanity), contra for NES and SNES...ect. Anyways I love my PSP (book reader, internet radio, ps1,n64,nes,snes,gb,gbc,movie watcher, music player, photo viewer, internet, quake, doom 1 and 2,psp windows vista *portal*) and I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. |

| GamingCrazy Newbie ![]() | Re: Impressions on your NEW PSP go here! I loved the look of it when I first saw it - one review I read described is as looking like a dinner tray designed by Gucci ^^ Initially I played it to death, but started to get a little bored with it and the official games - once custom firmware came out, I really got into it big time - it kinda makes the unit more personal, given that you can load what you want on it and mess wth it. I wouldn't trade them for anything now. |

| GamingCrazy Newbie | Re: Impressions on your NEW PSP go here! I got mine last October. It felt like a dream of my childhood came true ... gaming and internet everywhere, anytime with no cables attached !! I only started seaching for custom firmwares etc when I felt the need to have an Internet radio application. .. but that was added on an original firmware update ! Now with Skype, Go Cam etc, I feel like I have a laptop in my pocket all the time! |

| GamingCrazy Newbie | Re: Impressions on your NEW PSP go here! I got mine just two days ago, and I'm loving every minute of it. Bought it with 3.90 m33 cfw and have been playing my way through a very nice back catalogue of games. Starting with FF:CC and Jeanne D'Arc, after those two I'll be moving on to GoW:CoO and the two GTA games. Very, very happy with my new toy |
