I do belive that alot of the homebrew can be ported to play on a 3.xx kernel now. Ive got a slim & a Phat and they are pretty much running 5the same apps. Its only the really old 1.5 homebrew that you will miss out on. Ive got Afkim working on slim MAME ,SNES all ISO games & the back ups work well. I love the slim, but the phat is cool too. More features on slim.


I dont believe the phat will get skype because of lack of internal ram.
Its bigger in the slim

Easier to get around and use custom software with.
And all the phat PSP stuff are going like protector cases etc lol

i like the phat psp and the slim psp but i would prefer using the phat psp because of the weight and the feeling when i hold it in my hands =P
