Re: Guide for DCv7 using RainMMSv1.0

I updated my PSP Slim 2003 model using rain's method, have had no problems, though the motherboard did show to be a TA-88, but dont think it was a v3 though. One thing i have found though is that there's no Flash Player setting in the psp's XMB why is this? Is it to do with the custom firmware? have i done something wrong? I have installed 4.01M33-2 in my Phat before and that still shows the Flash setting along with WMA setting. I know i can activate it from recovery menu in CFW but wanted to get an answer to why it does'nt show in XMB? Did'nt bother checking to see if the official Firmware had the setting before i upgraded. Whats could be the problem? or does every PSP Slim owner with 4.01 m33-2 CFW have no flash setting?

Re: Guide for DCv7 using RainMMSv1.0

i've just checked my psp's. both are on v4.01m33-2. the fat had the flash player option but the slim didn't. so it must be a slim thing.

Did you hold down the L trigger before, during, and after putting in the battery??

Is the memory stick really magic gate supported, checked on a psp not from what is written on the stick?? What is the brand and size??

What kind of PSP is it phat or slim??

If it is a slim how new is it??

What is the operating system on the computer that you used to make the memory stick??

I'm thinking that your firmware is 4.05 not 4.50.

When you start the Rainmms did you right click on it and chose "Run as Administrator"??

If it still don't work try to get a XP computer to run it on.

When you say you get a black screen is the power light on??

This program is set it up for 4.01m33-2. If you can get it to 3.71m33-2 then it is an easy manual upgrade to 4.01m33-2, just check for the guide in the tutorial section on manually upgrading to 4.01m33-2.
