| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: Guide for DCv7 using RainMMSv1.0 even if your psp is on v4.01 ofw, you can still downgrade it back to v3.71m33. i've done it a few time on both my fat and slim psp's. but if you want to update your mem card to v4.01m33-2, then use the program and use the guide to update your mem card. you don't have to do the battery part as 1) you alraeady have one. and 2) it states in the requierments part of the guide, that you need a "Pandora Battery (Service Battery)".

My Mood: Credits: 88,598 | Re: Guide for DCv7 using RainMMSv1.0 I'm afraid that you may have one of the new ones that can not be hacked yet (TA-088v3 motherboard). Most of them come with 4.01 on it and started showing up about 2 months ago. Unless you bought it used and someone uprgaded it to 4.01.

There is a program that Dark-Alex has come up with to detect it but it is as complicated as the magic memory stick itself. One way to tell is if you have a working pandora battery and memory stick, one that is known to work on other PSP's and it won't work on yours except for the power light comong on then it is a sure bet that it is one.

Will my psp be brick if i follow all the step and my psp dont accept rainMMS?( if my psp has the latest mobo)What are the results after I follow all the steps and I cant unbrick my psp ? Coz as you've said, I cant Unbrick or downgrade the latest (TA-088v3)mobo of psp. So, I can Brick my psp using RainMMS but i cant fix it at this moment..?? Am I correct??
