hi i am only 15 from australia and hav a psp slim, 4.01ofw. I attempted to create a pandora with my battery with info from another site. It doesnt turn on, but the green light turns on. Cud u plz help and guide me to success.

Sounds like the battery is right now just follow this guide and you should be able to get the memory stick part of the process made. It takes the memory stick and the battery together to make this work.

The 4.01 ofw that is on the PSP, did it come with it(if it was new) or did you upgrade it?

No i downloaded the 4.01 ofw. Ive celotaped my battery so wot do i do now, even though psp's are alot cheaper now days, i am still fearing for the worst as i used my own money to purchase it lol. I thank am extremely grateful for ur quick response. So all i have to do now is...?

hi gandolf... I know, im constantly in ur face, my apologies.

But Ive come to ask, is there another downloading of this software.
1. Its extremely slow

Hi there gandalf, can i use the rainmms program and my slim psp battery which has been pandora'd to put custom firmware on a phat psp ???

It's risky to the battery as it can damage it using it on the slim. What you have to do is to plug in the AC adapter first but do not turn on, have the memorystick in place, then try to put the slim battery in top first(the slim battery does not fit into the phat easily, there are 2 tabs at the bottom that keep it from being inserted easily). It's a trick to get the battery in and hold the button at the same time. It may take several attempts but make sure that the AC adapter is plugged in as the slim battery does not have the power to run the phat.
