Edit Gandalf:
To run the "Complete with update file included" download and extract the RainUltraLiteMMS folder and its contents to you desktop, open the folder up and double click the RainsUltraLiteMMS.exe to start. Connect your PSP up and enable USB, select your drive letter, check Format memory stick, then "Make MMS". When finished you should have a magic memory stick for the version you select ready to use. This also works with some card readers.

so basically this program is used to update from 1.5 to 3.00+ firmware?

No these programs are used to make a magic memory stick to install the custom firmware that you chose along with the pandora battery. You do not have to be at 1.50, you can be at any firmware and go directly to the cfw of your choice.

It's actually simpler than the previous release which is what that guide is for. You will have to download the 4.01 Rainmms and then the 4.01 official update or you can use this: Rains UltraLite 4.01v1.1. I compiled it together with the 4.01 firmware, just extract the Rainmms401 folder to you desktop, open the folder up and double click the RainsUltraLiteMMS.exe to start. Connect your PSP up and enable USB, select your drive letter, check Format memory stick, then "Make MMS". When finished you should have a DCv7 memort stick.

Why does it say that it failed to inject. I tried three different memory sticks, one is a real sony 2 gig, another is a 1 gig sandisk, and the other is a bootleg sony 2 gig. None of them can be injected. I tried the other tutorial but when i put my memory stick in and then my pandora battery, nothing happens. My green light comes up but the screen/backlight doesnt turn on... anyone know whats wrong?
