I upgraded to 5.00 M00-6 and this fixed the problem and custom games still work as well. Ya it dosent make sense why that whould happen eather. Still thank you again for the info, speedy responce and recomending the M33-6

Hello,

I am new here and need help.
I have downloaded the file linked in the first post of this thread and placed it as directed on Combo99's guide on page 3 of this thread but I am unable to enter the Recovery menu to accomplish step 3 of the guide.
I hold down the R button while turning on the psp but instead of the Recovery m33 menu I get the XMB menu.

I am running CFW 5.00 m33-6 on a PSP slim. I have googled this problem and it seems that this procedure for accessing the Recovery menu does not work for the CFW I am running. Is this correct and if so how do I enable the plugin? Is there an alternate way to access the Recovery menu on CFW 5.00 m33-6?

You do not have the PSP completely off. Hold the power switch up for 4 to 6 seconds till it shuts down, then restart using the same method. You can also press select to get the VSH menu and select SHUTDOWN DEVICE this will also shut the PSP completely down.

Your PSP is in sleep mode and the recovery menu will not come up from there.

Thank you for your very prompt answer

You were right, I used the SHUTDOWN DEVICE on the VHS menu and was then able to enter the Recovery menu but once I go into PLUGINS it only says BACK and not the "popsloader.prx[POPS](enabled)" that Combo99's guide calls for thus I assume that the plugin is not enabled. So how do I enable the plugin? It is probably an obvious procedure

but I sure could not find it.

Go back to the first post and be sure that it is installed correctly. If it is installed correctly it will show up in the plugins section.

Go back and make sure that you have everything installed correctly. Bad file locations and folder setup is the main cause of problems.

Thanks for this. Just got a MD FFVIII working using this version of popsloader. im on CFW 5.0 m33-6

Ive spent all day trying to sort this!
