| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: Detailed Instructions to Downgrade 2.71 what type of motherboard does your psp have? if you have a TA-082, then this will not work for you. to check to see if you have a that motherboard, have a look at this "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]" and scroll down to the "FAQ" section to see a picture. if you can see the gold txt on your motherboard, then you have a TA-082 motherboard. and this downgrader is not for you. by the sounds of it, your psp is bricked. and the only way to fix it now, is to use a pandora's battery. there are guides in the tutorial section on how to make one. or you could buy one from the likes of ebay or amazon.

| GamingCrazy Newbie | It has got gold righting on but on the left hand side (not behind the side where it says UMD) so i thought it was ok cos i saw this before i did it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] but im guessing not now, i cant read the writing but thought it was ok cos it was on the correct side.... so what will a pandora battery do? i need to take the battery apart and stuff dont i? i'l probly buy one cos i'l probly break my battery if i try that myself too knowin my luck...if i get a pandora battery what do i do then? i read somewhere i need the latest 'DC' whats DC? | Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Re: Detailed Instructions to Downgrade 2.71 Quote: if i was you, i would buy a pandora's battery. hard modding the battery can be a nightmare and you could end up frying the battery. most of the pandora's batteries on ebay or amazon come with the DC installed on the mem card that comes with the battery. if you just buy the "Service tool" (only the battery) then you can simply make the magic mem card. there is a good GUI program in the tutorial section "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]" that will make the magic mem card for you. the "DC" that you asked about, is the version of software for the magic mem card that is used in with the service tool....DCv7 being the latest version which will install v4.01m33-3.
