Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

Do you have a problem with simplepopstation?? Do you have problems with the games that it converts??

If not just use what works. Could be a bunch of different things, what Operating System are you using and does it do it with every game??

I've re-installed the seplugins folder and the game, but this didn't change anything.

I've been having the same problem, unfortunately I don't know of a solution yet...but I'm almost positive theirs a way to go back and re-select the correct firmware or correct popstation version (I forget which it asks you to select).

If you do happen to find a solution, please feel free to PM me. I'd like to know because that's one of the only problems I've encountered so far. PSX PSP issues :/ I'm gonna look into that "how to" guide on how to convert your own PS1 discs into PSP games.

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

Once you select the popsloader firmware on a psx game the selection screen does not come up anymore. You have to press and hold the Right or Left Trigger(can't remember which) when you select the game and press X. The popsloader menu should pop up so you can change your selection.

You have to be running custom firmware and unless it is a PSP1000 or an older PSP2000 then you are out of luck. The PSP1000's and the older PSP2000's can be hacked thru the pandora battery and magic memory stick.

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

I have put ps1 games on my psp slim 2000. When I try to display the games on the tv they are oversized and don't fit the screen. Is there a way to play the games on the tv so that I can see everything that is going on?

Hey, maybe this will help.

While playing a PSX game on the PSP, press the HOME button. You'll see a menu pop up, go down to "Other Settings". Now you'll see another menu pop up. The first option on that menu says "Screen Mode". Try messing with those settings and see if it helps with your screen size problem.

If that doesn't help, then maybe you need to adjust the settings on your actual TV. Maybe you can change the aspect ratio of it. Good luck, I hope you find a solution.
