Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

Ok, I've got it... It was my opening_plugin.rco file that I flashed.

Thanks again for all your help.

Does anyone have a debranded opening_plugin.rco that still allows you to play PSX games?

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

This happened to me (everything happened to me) the first time I tried to start FFVIII. It's your ISO.

The first time I tried to play FFVIII I took my psx disc and just copied the .ISO file I found on it onto my PC. I then converted that .ISO file into an EBOOT and KEYS and tried to play it. It showed the Sony symbol and then went black.

To fix this I inserted my psx disc again, but instead of just copying the .ISO file I found there, I made my own disc image using IsoBuster, it was like a disc image of a disc image.

I then converted that to an EBOOT and KEYS and it worked. So, basically, try again. Post if it still doesn't work.

Ummm. Try [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] after the upgrade tutorial he has a plugins section, so just scroll down to it. I dunno if that's what your looking for, but there it is.

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

np, thx

I'll be adding an "Extras" Section on things like ISO's and
DevHook and Emulators in the reserved block in the next
few days.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Bad pun. Sry.

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

Wow congrats on the sticky! That wasn't what I was looking for, but I did find the plugin for screenshots of games. I had given up on that feature since I left the dev hooks behind. Thanks

Re: PSX Games on PSP - Guide/FAQ/Tutorial

Lol. Thx. Pretty unexpected, that's for sure, but its kind of a relief. Lol. Now I don't have to keep bumping my own thread.

Anywho, could you tell me how to downgrade to 1.5 from 3.03 OE-C? (I've never done it). Do you just make a \RECOVERY folder, put it in game, and put the 1.5 EBOOT in there? I figure I should probably post how to do it somewhere in the FAQ.
