---------------------------------------------------------------------
Any firmware version PSP
* This will work on any firmware version and will also unbrick your PSP. To do it though, you will need another homebrew enabled PSP. Use Pandora's battery to downgrade/unbrick
---------------------------------------------------------------------

You are now free to enjoy the world of homebrew. To play isos, you can use devhook, which emulates the Sony firmware. Or, you can upgrade to custom firmware, which, gives you all the advantages of 1.50, and the official Sony firmware, and more, such as the ability to run your own PSX games. If you would like to upgrade to custom firmware, please use this guide.

FAQs

Where can I download the 2.0/2.60/2.71 eboot?
You can download your eboots from this thread

How can I tell if I have a TA-082 motherboard?

How can I tell if I have the pre-patched version of GTA:LCS?
If you already have the game, you can tell by seeing what firmware update it includes. If it has the 2.0 update, then it is a pre-patched version.
If you are looking to buy it, but want to know before you do, take a look at this article here and it will explain how to tell the difference just from the case.

How can i downgrade from Custom Firmware back to 1.50?
Use this guide here
More faqs will be added when needed

Nice guide - excellent addition to the tutorials section - it can be tough/confusing finding the right downgraders, there are so many now. You put them all in one place - nice job .

Thank you .

Thank you .
Tis indeedy, it took me quite a while to find a couple of them, but found them
Which just emphasises the point more, some of the downgraders are hard to find, and we can't really have all of them stickied, so just link to all of them

Wow what a great help to the whole downgrading scene. I mean at first u helped me out with the Ratchet clank game and now I can downgrade my cousins psp just by coming to this site. Instead of looking around and not finding things I can just come here and find. Good Looking Ms Bex
