| GamingCrazy Newbie | Thanks for the guide, but I'm having problems. I tried it out with 3 separate memory cards but I keep getting the same error so I'm guessing its something else. First of all I'm on 3.52 m33 firmware. I go through the steps up until loading the pandora installer program on my psp, then it loads and after I press X it says this: reading and checking file.. error cannot find data.psar in top folder of memory stick So I got the pbpunpacker online and put the data.psar in the top folder ms0:/ along with the pbp itself (if the update.pbp isnt in there i get the 'cannot find updater' error), and i still get the same error: reading and checking file.. error cannot find data.psar in top folder of memory stick I've tried this many times with each of my memory sticks, but always the same error. Ive searched with google loads but just can't find the answer.. SOMEBODY PLEASE HEEEELPP!!!! :'( ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- update: memory stick is pro duo. i just tried putting both update.pbp and data.psar in every folder on the memory card and still no luck lol its weird the way it can tell if update.pdb is there or not, yet not data.psar. (i shouldnt even have to put data.psar in there myself, it should create it from the update.pbp alone, and yet it doesnt) ---------------------------------------------------------------- update2: just upgraded firmware to 3.52 m33-4, still get same error. I'm guessing upgrading to 3.71 won't help either. I also tested using the 1.50 kernel from recovery and loading the pandora installer from /GAME but I still get the same error... the only other thing i can think of is a problem with the update.pbp, but I got it from the link in this forum and as its compressed it should be 'corrupt' if it downloaded wrong... I'm very, very stuck. :-/ ------------------------------------------------------- FINAL UPDATE: Haha, it WAS the update.pbp. I got it off another site and it worked fine. Anyway Ill leave my message here for other ppl with 3.52m33 fw. Last edited by coresnake; 11-02-2007 at 02:42 AM.. |

| GamingCrazy Novice ![]() | Re: [guide] How to make a Pandora battery lol funny and long story. congrats u finally got it to work. well im was 3.40 oe-a when i first used pandora and it worked. then i upgraded to 3.52 m33-4 and then it worked AGAIn flawlessly. lol u need to check everything dude. if i got that problem with the errors. i would have redownloaded everything and start over. (and my pandora is recently updated to V3 NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THE 1.5, 3.4, and 3.71 update eboots) |

| GamingCrazy Newbie | Re: [guide] How to make a Pandora battery haha of course I would have thought of redownloading everything first, but I'm on dialup so its not that easy lol takes more than an hour to download a 13mb eboot! so i tried everything else first lol as it happens the eboot i used in the end was on my hard drive all long in my psp folder, i think it was the one i used for downgrading to 1.5 or something. Anyway it worked so now i can just copy the folder and never ever delete it lol |
